Children’s TV

Paul has been closely associated with many well know children’s television programmes, including the BBC programme Blue Peter, on which he first appeared in 1984.

He has supervised several sequences on the show including excerpts from The Witches stage play (in 1992 and 1996) appeared at a Blue Peter Millennium Concert at the Bridgewater Hall Manchester in 2000 levitating presenter Connie Huq.

In 2002 he appeared as a featured character “Mefisto” in two episodes of the Blue Peter Quest.

As a consultant he has worked closely with Bafta award winning children’s presenter Dominic Wood, devising and co-directing  illusion sequences for Dominic’s 13 part series of Animal Magic for BBCTV.

He has also worked with Dominic on BBC Children In Need, and a pilot show for Jamie Oliver’s “Fresh” company. Paul also performed at the CBBC’s “Big Bash” assisted by actor Paul Nichols.
